Genesis Rodriguez
Genesis Rodriguez was born in Miami. She
is the daughter of Jose Luis El Puma' Rodriguez (the famous Venezuelan actor
and singer) and Carolina Perez (a Cuban-model). She has two half-sisters. She
studied at the Carrolton School of the Sacred Heart in Miami. Rodriguez was an
actor since the age of a child. She took classes during the summer at the Lee
Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and began her own acting training. Success
followed and she won roles in Spanish languages, such as Prisionera (2004),
Dame Chocolate (2007) and Dona Barbara (2008). She was also a part of the hit
TV series "Entourage" (2004). Man on a Ledge (2012) was her first
film project. What to Expect When Your Expecting (2012) is her second. The
daughter of Jose Luis 'El Puma' Rodriguez. Half-sister to Liliana Rodrigo as
well as Lilibeth Moillo. In the The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson (January
9, episode of 2013) she revealed her name as Genesis in honor of the British
rock group Genesis. She is of Venezuelan as well as Cuban descent. Being by the
ocean is the greatest thing. I'd recommend submitting my resume to NBA.com in
case this acting thing doesn’t work. I am a big basketball enthusiast. . . I'll
talk all sorts of trash. I believe I represent the new generation of Latinos
Bicultural and bilingual. I know I can't have the food I want or look the way I
want and therefore you must strive for it. I am thankful to Pilates and my
parents' good genes. One of the best bonding experiences is to make the fool of
yourself, and then posting it online. I enjoy those who are willing to take
risks. People who take risks on the carpet are my favorite. I am a huge fan of
Charlize Theron. I like her style. She's elegant and stylish too. I love Zoe
Saldana.
