Kelly was part of the ACC Digital Network's internship team and also worked as an assistant in the production. After the completion of her internship, Kelly received an offer to join the ACC Digital Networks. Kelly began her career as a sports-related reporter. She also conducted interviews on the Saturday program, "ACC Kickoff". Through 2013, she stayed with the network, where she also participated in the "ACC NOW" show. After her time on ACC Digital Network, she became a Fox Sports Florida sideline reporter. Because of her hard job, Fox Sports Sun recruited her to cover the Tampa Bay Rays', Orlando Magic's, as well as Tampa Bay Lightning franchises.
