Elizabeth Leigh Vassey
American actress Elizabeth Leigh Vassey was born August 9 in 1972. Her credits include Emily Ann Sago in the television series All My Children, Captain Liberty in the 2001 TV show The Tick, Wendy Simms in the television series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and Nikki Beaumont in the web series Nikki & Nora. Vassey was Emily Ann Sago, a teenager, on All My Children's soap opera from 1988 until 1991. From 2004 until 2005, she had regular roles on the TV show Tru Calling as Dr. Carrie Allen.She played a variety of episodes of the sitcom Two and a Half Men. Vassey was Wendy Simms, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation's recurring character from 2005 until 2010. Vassey was first seen in the opening credits of the series' CSI: Crime Scene Investigation series as a regular cast member as well as being promoted to a permanent character in the series' tenth season. Entertainment Weekly reported that Vassey was not returning for the eleventh season. The actress appeared in one episode of the season.Vassey appeared on Joss Whedon's online musical, Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog with the name "Fury Leika". Vassey is married to David Emmerichs, a camera operator.In 2002, along with co-star Kristin Bauer, Vassey started a company named Neurosis to create a T(ee) which produces and sells slogan-covered t-shirts for women. The slogans make fun of female anxieties and fears. They are often based on relationships.
