Jillian Noel Hennessy

Jillian Noel Hennessy is a Canadian actor and singer from Canada. She is most famous for her performances in American television series Law & Order (where she played Claire Kincaid, a prosecutor) and Crossing Jordan (where she played Jordan Cavanaugh for six seasons). She also appeared in movies such as RoboCop 3 & Most Wanted and independent films Chutney Popcorn & The Acting Class. The latter was also written and directed by her. Hennessy was born in Edmonton. John Hennessy was her father. He was a meat seller and an executive in sales and marketing. The job involved many trips and caused frequent family changes. Maxine Hernnessy, Maxine's mom and secretary, passed away in the year 1982. Eleanor her paternal grandmother who lived in Kitchener (Ontario) played a part in raising her daughter. John Paul Hennessy Jr. is her younger brother. is Jacqueline Hennessy the identical twin who is a magazine journalist as well as a host on TV in Canada. Hennessy is of Irish, French and Swedish descent, as well as Ukrainian Roma and Austrian ancestry. After finishing her studies at Grand River Collegiate Institute (both in Kitchener) She then went to Stanley Park Senior Public School. She also worked on the Toronto subway. Hennessy as well as her sister were among the first actors to be cast as twin call girls in 1988's Dead Ringers.
